Emily Goldfield

         Emily Goldfield

Emily Goldfield was born in Brooklyn, New York. She attended the University of Michigan where she received her bachelor’s degree, Penn State University where she received a master’s degree
in Parks & Recreation, and the University
of Southern California, where she received a doctorate in Education and Fine Arts.

She is listed in Who’s Who in America, and is a member of the Pastel Society of America, American Women Artists and the California Art Club. She is also an active member of the Allied Artists
of the Santa Monica Mountains & Seashore,
a group of painters who donate a portion
of their proceeds to state and national parks
for education purposes.

Best described as a painter in the Romantic Realist style, Emily was first inspired by the early painters
of the great American West. Through Emily’s landscapes you are invited to a place in nature, through the eye of the artist, where you can
take a break from everyday life and feel refreshed.
