The Pastel Society of the Gold Coast is a non-profit organization for the specific purpose of providing public exhibitions for its members, to educate the community through collaboration with environmental and other non-profit organizations, and to promote the arts in general.

Judy Klement, an award-winning realist in all mediums, favors pastels. 

 

Born and married on the East Coast, she is also known at Judy Aymar.  As a COGAP artist, her work is part of the permanent US Coast Guard art collection.  Her art is held in collections across the USA, Italy and Germany.  After moving to California in 1989, Judy met and married Walt Klement in 1999.  She now resides at 728 West Main St., Santa Paula, CA, where she teaches art in all mediums at her studio.


Klement taught at VUSD for over 16 years and celebrated her friends' and students' work with annual art shows at Blanchard Library, with many of her students going on to become professionals. 

In 2007, Judy initiated and curated the Pastel wall at the Sant Paula Art and Photography Exhibit. 

She is a member of SPSA, CAC, Ventura County Creative Artists, Ojai Art Center, and a signature member of the Pastel Society of the Gold Coast.  Klement guarantees satisfaction with commissions in any medium and subject, including scenic views, portraits of people and pets, auto, boats, buildings, and murals
