Sisca Wolff
I was always interested in art and design at a young age. I would dabble with graphite, colored pencils or ink whenever I was inspired to draw. When my life focus shifted to family and work, a camera helped me stay creative in capturing images around me.
Later, when I started painting with oil paints, I realized that I was drawn to close-up images of flowers and plants to show details, lines, shapes, and gradation of colors. After being back in California, I learned to use pastels from Virginia Kamhi and have been inspired to paint landscapes and seascapes.
I find that the process of creating a painting can be both challenging and pleasing, and I enjoy that learning experience.
